Aunt Patti is here! Yayness!

She got in at two this afternoon. My dad was going to be home by four, then pick me up and we were going to surprise my mom at her work. But, of course, the traffic had other plans. It took them a total of SIX AND A HALF hours to get home! How sad is that? But they did get here. My mom was already home, of course, so my dad just told her that he was going to his office to work for a couple of hours and to meet him at Perkin's at 8:30. So, right as they drove up, my mom decides to go to the bathroom really quick. Of course, I thought we had five, maybe seven minutes before she got back, so I told Daddy and Aunt Patti to go ahead and sit down so we could surprise her at the table. Of course, as soon as Aunt Patti came in the door, my mom came back from the bathroom. She was at first looking at my dad, then she looked at Aunt Patti. Then she did a double-take and her jaw absolutely dropped. She practically yelled, "Oh, my gosh!" when her mouth connected with her brain. LOL. So, they hugged and everything, and wouldn't you believe it, Mama started crying. It was such an awesome moment. I loved it. So, anyways, that was pretty much it. We are going to the Captain George's where my dad got on his knee and proposed to my mom for the first time on Sunday, after Caleb gets back from Atlanta. And we are trying to convince my mom to take a day trip to the beach, since Aunt Patti doesn't live near a beach and I want to get out of school on Monday. LOL. Well, I gots to go. Until!
